Eleni Kalopesa studied Agriculture with Crop Management in Harper Adams University College, United Kingdom and holds two MSc Degrees, MSc Environmental Sciences from Wageningen University, The Netherlands and MSc Hydrobiology-Aquacultures from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. She has 20 years of experience in the management of soil & water natural resources. She has participated in almost 40 research projects, dealing with environmental indicators and especially with water quality parameters and soil health indices. She is the Project Manager of several European dealing with EO data utilization for digital services in the agri-food sector using machine learning and AI techniques while she has strong experience in communication, dissemination and stakeholder engagement. Her future motivation focuses on carbon farming through Living lab methodologies and establishment in the Med Region.
