Dimitra Xenitopoulou studied Agriculture at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh), and in particular, she holds a BSc in Food Science & Technology. She is a researcher at SpectraLab, AUTh investigating the development & utilization of innovative spectroscopic technologies, such as MEMS (Micro-Electromechanical Systems) based Photonics Systems, Hyperspectral Imaging (HI), etc., in detecting food adulteration, ensuring the integrity of the quality labelled food products, quantifying the nutrient content, etc.
